INTRODUCTION WITH THE COMPANY

The motive of the existence of this company is to produce indigenous , and to meet the requirement of the domestic markets with a great deal of tyres to support the national economy , and to employ a considerable number of the workers as well .

The General Company for Tyres industry , HAMA , is the first of its kind in SYRIA . it is one of the heavy duty industries with a developed and sophisticated technology .

The plant was erected constructed and executed under the contract agreement with Techno export company CZECHOSLOVAKIA .

some of the engineers and technicians were trained in Czechoslovakia for specialization in the respective field . 

Hama Tyres Plant project was founded by the presidential resolution NO.85 dated on July 24th, 1974

The General Company for Tyres industry was incorporated by the presidential decree NO.2887 dated on Dec.30th ,1982 . The said decree details the following :

ARTICLE 1 - A General Company will be incorporated and will be called
 ( The General Company for Tyres industries subordinated to the General Establishment fore the Chemical industries ) 

ARTICLE 2 - The purpose of this a/m company : Tyres producing and trading with all  the different tyres and size of tyres

ARTICLE 3 - Location of this company : Hama city . The right to establish associated  branches in any other province in SYRIA .

ARTICLE 4 - The capital of the company is stated to be S.P.715 million .consisting of :
                        A - Immovable asset : S.P.623 millions
                        B - Movable asset : S.P.92 millions
